Rich Graham

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Rich played baseball and earned 4 Varsity letters. Drafted in the 31st round as a pitcher by the Seattle Mariners in 1992, Rich also played with the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros organizations until 1997. During his professional career Rich was a 4 time All-Star and made over 200 appearances while converting over 90% of his save opportunities. Rich also participated in 4 championship series during his professional career and won 2 of them.
Professionally, he also served as a player/coach from 1994-1997. In 1998-99 he became an Assistant Director/Coach for the Seattle Devil Rays Organization and helped lead the team to national rankings of #10 and #12.
Collegiately, Rich served as the Pitching Coach /Interm Head Coach for Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, WA. His coaching accomplishments there included guiding the team to a 28-18 overall record and placing 2nd in the NWAACC Tournament.
Since joining RBA South Rich has had a part in developing 57 players who have gone on to play collegiate ball – 25 of whom were pitchers and 18 of those pitchers received Division I scholarships.
From 1997-2000, Rich helped develop twenty-five players who went on to be drafted, twelve of them were pitchers, five of which were selected in the first five rounds. In the fall and spring of 1999-2000, Rich was an Assistant Coach at the nearby University of Richmond where he helped recruit current RBA Coach Bobby Lenoir.
