Bobby Lenoir

Bobby LeNoir is starting his 6th year of coaching at RBA South. Originally from Wilmington, DE, he was a four year starter at the local University of Richmond. Collegiately he helped lead the Spiders to within a game of the College World Series in 2002 as they reached the Super Regionals and were ranked #9 in the country, while also leading the Spiders in reaching the Regional Finals in 2003.

Rounding out his impressive college career, Bobby led the Atlantic 10 in steals in 2003 and earned the A-10 Defensive Shortstop of the Year in 2004. He was also named to the All Atlantic 10 Championship Team that same year while he held a .315 batting average. He was then drafted in the 21st round of the 2004 draft by the Texas Rangers.

He then spent two years in the Rangers organization where he rose to High A Bakersfield. Bobby then continued on to play one season with the Sussex Skyhawks, a member of the Can-Am Independent League. With Sussex Bobby compiled a 26-game hitting streak while hitting 3 homers. He also holds the Can-Am league record for assists in a season.
